FAQ

Custom wigs questions, answered.

Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.

What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is just 12 wigs, with bulk tiers as quantities grow. Lace front, full lace, monofilament and private-label lines all carry the same minimum.

How fast will my wigs arrive?

Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and wigs ship in about 2 weeks. Full lace and hand-tied monofilament caps are labour-heavy and can add time, and we confirm a real ship date in writing before you commit.

How do I measure for a wig?

Three measurements: head circumference around the hairline, front hairline to nape, and ear to ear over the top. Those decide whether a cap sits without gripping or sliding. “Average” is a range rather than a size, and the adjustable straps then take up the difference — but they cannot rescue a cap that was wrong to begin with.

Human hair or synthetic?

It is a heat and maintenance decision, not a ranking. Human hair takes heat and colour and can be cut in, and it must be restyled after every wash because hair has no style memory. Heat-friendly synthetic holds its style through washing, has a stated heat ceiling, cannot be lifted lighter, and has a shorter life. Different wearers, not better and worse.

Why does a wig look like a wig?

Usually too much density and too blunt a hairline. A real hairline is sparse and irregular, so a dense straight front reads as costume from across a room whatever the hair cost. Graduated front density, a plucked hairline and bleached knots are what fix it, and we quote density as a percentage rather than selling more hair as better.

What do remy and virgin mean?

Remy means the cuticles still run in one direction along the strand, which is what stops hair tangling on itself. Virgin means unprocessed. Both words are used loosely across this trade as if they simply meant good quality. We state which applies to your order, and we will not print either claim where we cannot evidence it.

Which cap construction should I choose?

Machine-wefted for durability and cost, monofilament crown for a natural parting and a cooler cap, lace front for a hairline you can wear back, full lace where the hair must move in any direction. Cap construction drives most of the price and nearly all of the comfort, so we quote the construction rather than a product name.

Are these medical wigs?

No. These are hair goods, not medical devices or prostheses, and we make no claim about scalp conditions, hair loss treatment or suitability during medical treatment beyond comfort and fit. We also sell no adhesives, scalp products or styling chemicals. Where a wearer needs clinical advice, that comes from a clinician rather than from a supplier.
